Our History

• October 10, 1955,  the Waitsburg Rifle and Pistol Club was initially recognized by the National Rifle Association as a community shooting club, and has been a member ever since!

• October 31, 1961 - The local citizens  formed a Non-Profit Corporation to encourage organized rifle and pistol shooting among citizens of the United States Residents in our community and surrounding area, with a view towards a better knowledge on the part of such citizens of the safe and handling and proper care of firearms, as well as improved marksmanship.   The official formation was completed November 29, 1961.

• September 21, 1996, the Elected board choose to update the name to Waitsburg Gun Club which became official later that same year!
